Policy
Price, specification, and terms are subject to change without notice. Computer Specialists® is not responsible for errors in typography and/or photography. All parts come with original manufacture warranty and no technical support is included. Customer pays return shipping on all services and/or products.

Computer Specialists® accepts the following Payment Methods:

We do not accept orders made with non U.S. bank credit cards.

Price Matching / Pricing Policy
We do not offer price matching. For your convenience, all of our most current and lowest pricing is posted on our web site daily. Prices are not negotiable.

OEM vs. Retail
The retail and OEM versions usually will have the same exact product, however the retail version usually will come with bundled software, retail packaging, and more bells and whistles so to speak. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), White Box, Brown Box versions will come with the actual product and usually the drivers, no special packaging or software. Occasionally the retail version will accompany a longer warranty.

Bare Drive or Bare Card
These items come exactly as they are described. You will only receive the bare drive or the bare card. These items are brand new. However they are purchased in bulk, and will not accompany any documentation, software, or accessories.

Terms and Conditions for Returns
  1. Returns for credit will only be accepted within 15 days from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product. Returns for exchange will only be accepted within 15 days from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product, unless otherwise noted in the product description.
  2. Some products will be labeled "No Return." These products need to be returned to manufacture only. Computer Specialists® will not accept or be responsible for any defect or incompatibility issues with these products. All unauthorized returned products will be refused and shipped back to the sender. Please consult Manufacturers website for compatibility and technical specifications before placing or finalizing the order.
  3. Please contact the manufacturer for all defective issues beyond 15 days from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product, unless otherwise noted in the product description. Computer Specialists® will not accept defective product replacements if a Return Approval Number is not issued within 15 days from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product. All products needing warranty service past Computer Specialists® 15-day cutoff will be serviced by their respective manufacturer. Computer Specialists® will do its best to assist customers in receiving warranty support after 15 days.
  4. All Retail Boxed CPUs are covered by three years manufacturer warranty. Please contact manufacturer directly for repair or exchange. There will be no return for Retail Boxed CPUs. OEM CPUs are covered by a 7 day warranty. OEM CPUs may be returned for exchange only within 7 days from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product. Computer Specialists® will exchange any defective OEM CPU with a CPU of the same type if notified of the defect within 7 days of the shipped date from Computer Specialists®. No credits or refunds will be given for any CPU sold by Computer Specialists®.
  5. Due to manufacturer policies, all Software, Processors, Notebooks, CD Media, Blank Media Cartridges, and Routers are non-returnable.
  6. Product returns or replacements will not be accepted without a Return Approval Number. Once a Return Approval Number is obtained, customer is responsible for shipping the product back. Please ship using a carrier that provides a tracking number and proof of delivery. Computer Specialists® recommends UPS. Computer Specialists® will not be responsible for items lost by the carrier. Valid proof of delivery must include the e-mail that we send you.
  7. We do not accept returns for software products. For DOA (dead on arrival) software products, please contact the manufacturer.
  8. All returns must have a Return Approval Number on the package along with copy of invoice. All return requests must be submitted via email within 15 days of from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product. All return freight costs will be at customers expenses. All returns without original packaging in good resalable condition will NOT be accepted.
  9. Restocking charges will be applied to incomplete returns. Returned products must include all accessories. Please make sure that all manuals, cables, screws, and other accessories are included in the original packaging. Products returned incomplete will be assessed a 25% or more restocking fee.
  10. Products damaged through negligence or due to poor return packaging will void the warranty and will be returned without replacement at the customers expense.
  11. Returned products must be received within 7 days from the issuance of the Return Approval Number.
  12. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  13. Computer Specialists® is not responsible for manufacturer defects. We are not the manufacturer, customer pays all shipping costs for the defective items. The customer pays for shipping costs to Computer Specialists® and the shipping costs required to send the replacement product back to customer.
  14. On returns to our facility, no credit will be allowed for items shipped to us in error.
  15. All claims for shortage, damage or shipment errors must be made within 3 days after receipt of shipment. Our liability shall be limited to the invoice value of the materials or its replacement.
  16. If any malfunction of products should occur while used in its recommended environment, Computer Specialists®, at our option, will repair or replace the product, provided the product or any part thereof has not been abused, misused, neglected, replaced, repaired or modified and is within 15 days from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product. Computer Specialists® shall make the final determination as to the existence and cause of any defect.
    Computer Specialists® will not repair or replace products designated on the face of the invoice as having a limited lifetime which fail solely because their estimated life has expired. No warranty is made with respect to custom products produced to original purchaser specifications except as specifically stated in writing by Computer Specialists®. Except as provided herein, there are no express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstance will Computer Specialists® be liable in any way to any purchaser for any damages, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost wages, or any other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use any product sold and/or repaired by Computer Specialists®. Computer Specialists® reserves the right to make modifications in both hardware and software without prior notification.
  17. The return policy for OEM products will differ depending on manufacturer and/or the time of purchase. Most of our OEM products carry a 30 days warranty. Please consult product manufacture for detail warranty information.

Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns for credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable. No refund will be given after 15 days from the date Computer Specialists® shipped the product.

Technical Assistance
For most products, please contact the original manufacturer for assistance. Computer Specialists® does provide fee based tech support. Please contact Computer Specialists® for more information.

Processing Time
You can expect your order to be processed within approximately one to two business days, provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with the payment verification. Computer Specialists® does not guarantee same day shipping. Orders will not be processed on weekends and holidays.

Back Orders
Any items that are unavailable will be placed on back order, and the remainder of your order will be shipped. Please check our web site for the back ordered items estimated time of arrival. Please note that these dates are "estimates" and not guaranteed to arrive on that date.

Order Status
Computer Specialists® will do everything possible to keep you informed of your order via e-mail. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once the item is shipped.

Shipping Policy
Computer Specialists® is not responsible for delays in shipping due to circumstances beyond our control. In addition, Computer Specialists® is not liable for any damage or loss incurred as a result of shipping and handling.

Computer Specialists® offers the following shipping methods:   

UPS Ground
- Package will be delivered within 5-7 business day plus 1-2 days processing time
UPS 3 Day Select
- Package will be delivered within 3 business day plus 1-2 days processing time
UPS 2nd Day Air
- Package will be delivered within 2 business day plus 1-2 days processing time
UPS Next Day Air Saver
- Package will be delivered within 1 business day plus 1-2 days processing time

    

*    Please do not use P.O. Box address for UPS delivery service.  UPS does not deliver package to P.O. Box address.

*    For Alaska and Hawaii customer: due to the geographic region limitation, the requested delivery service may not guarantee arrival to the selected location.

*    Please note that we do not process orders during weekends or national holidays.  We do not offer shipping methods for Saturday or Sunday delivery.

Security
When placing an order by the Internet, security is our number one priority.  All on-line transactions are sent through our secure server and encrypted with 128-bit technology.  Once the information is received through the Internet your payment will be processed. Your information is always handled with the highest level of security.

Computer Specialists® respects your privacy.  We will not under any circumstances sell or release your information to anyone.  From time to time, we may notify you of special offers and/or send you online information that may be of interest to you based on information you have given us and on your buying history at Computer Specialists®.   
Change Orders
Once an has been placed through the Computer Specialists® Internet site, the order may not be changed.  Please ensure the correct products have been selected before placing an order.    Please do not request an order change via email or phone, as orders cannot be changed once entered in our systems.
